18I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. ~ Eph.1
Heart enlightened to know (experience/relationally know) the hope…the riches of His glory!
13waiting for the blessed hope and manifestation of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” ~ Titus 2:13
Looking for the hope and manifestation/appearing ~ epiphanea in Greek, which probably means epiphany of His glory!
6For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. ~ 2 Cor.4:6
This glory is something we perceive in our hearts not necessarily with out eyes! Blessed are those who believe without seeing!
2B “…and we exult in hope of the glory of God….5and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” ~ Rom.5:2b,5
There is a consistent theme that Paul prayed and declared that heart’s would be enlightened by the Holy Spirit so we would know/experience of the hope/confident expectation of an epiphany of God’s glory to us!
so that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God, 26that is, the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints, 27to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. ~ Col.1
