You Have Arrived!

Your spiritual journey is already completely finished! Jesus was the ONE who ran the race and won the prize; the race was marathon of THE FAITH that He has Authored and finished and you are invited to partake with Him in His divine REST!

But, you still have to finish your part until the end….No, this is not a clear contradiction but it is the understanding of the VISIBLE realm (Physical,worldly, inferior) and the SPIRIT realm (supernatural, Heavenly, superior).

For those who have received the Spirit of God (Christ, Holy Spirit) in the Lord Jesus Christ; HE has finished our work for us! Paul wrote many times that we WERE ALREADY crucified with Christ on the cross, buried with him in baptism and raised to NEW [completely unlike anything before it] life! This has ALL already happened in our spirit because it is our spirit man that IS JOINED to the Lord (1 Cor.6:17) and we now see ourselves IN THE LAMB as He finished the LAW for us and we died to the Law with Him!

Don’t ask me how God did something 2,000 years before we ever believed but, we accept the fact that His ONE Sacrifice 2,000 years ago gave us forgiveness; so we should be able to believe the whole way with the God of the impossible!

The Gospel revealed salvation and even God’s righteousness to all who would believe but, we do more than become born-again by faith…we LIVE and WALK by faith! We go from faith to faith because what He finished in our spirit WE complete in our mind and body!

“did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? 3Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh? ~ Gal.3

What we started by grace through faith (born-again) we finish by the Holy Spirit; the Spirit of Grace through the Spirit of Faith. (Another aspect of Holy Spirit).

4There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; 5one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.

In the ONE spirit, we are ONE body of Christ and there is ONE faith…”The Faith of God!”

Paul wrote Gal.3 immediately after declaring to them that “he HAD BEEN crucified with Christ and it is no longer I (insert your name here) who lives but, Christ who lives in me! The life I (you) live in the body; I live by THE FAITH of the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me! ~ Gal.2:20

Paul’s emphasis on the Gospel was not on what we must do now that we are born-again but, what JESUS HAS DONE IN US and how we receive it to apply it!

23and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.” Eph.4

The “New Self/New Man” is the “New Creation” in Christ! It’s not about you or me or even Paul or John…it’s Christ be ALL and IN ALL! This is OUR NEW spirit man that went from Cross to Grave, Resurrection and even Ascension to the Throne with Him!

 3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ!” Eph.1:3

In Ephesians 1 Paul wrote about 10 times in different ways the phrase “In Christ” and applied it to the “normal Christians” in Ephesus!

Normal Christianity isn’t Paul, John or Bill Johnson…(love them all!) but, it’s Jesus Christ!

He kept saying; stop trying to do something that Christ has already done for you! Christ started your salvation and He is finishing it as you perceive the reality of WHO HE IS and WHO YOU ALREADY ARE IN HIM (joined with him in spirit).

We are already just like Him (in our spirit man) and our part is to endure in His Word to receive all that we have already been given in the spirit man!

So you HAVE arrived. Jesus finished your work and put in in Holy Spirit joined to you upon receiving Him but NOW we must KEEP our Rest/trust in Him.

He is the Vine. We ARE branches. Abide In Him….Abide in His love. (John 15:

Branches are already connected. We are joined to Him in spirit; keep your mind, heart and body connected to Him and continue to become more one with the reality of God!

We grow in deeper relationship with Him, hearing His voice, receiving his love and releasing what He gives us in our lives. Our Minds continually being renewed in His Truth and perceiving more and more clearly day by day who HE IS and that HE has made us in his likeness…JUST LIKE HIM!

Sometimes we need to stop trying to do and just be.

Paul summed the whole process up so concisely in Colossians 3 ~

1Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.3For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.”

The work he described was focusing our attention on Jesus; not “trying to be better!”When Christ is revealed to us; we perceive who we really are and we manifest His glory!

This is how Holy Spirit explained it to me ~ “We will perceive what we have received when we believe we have received what we don’t perceive.”

We have everything pertaining to life and Godliness…We receive it by staying in relationship with God by faith.

The righteous live by faith…even The very Faith of God!
